The sooner the better! December is one of the busiest travel seasons to Pakistan so prices go up the closer you get to your travel date. We recommend that you have purchased your tickets at least 6-8 months before the wedding. Please share your ticket PDF with our wedding coordinators once booked so we can monitor your flight and arrange an airport pick up.

There is one major airport - Islamabad International Airport and multiple airlines operate on a daily basis. During peak season flights get very full so we recommend you book earlier than later.

There are no security concerns if you land late at night, we will assist you as needed.

Customarily, people in Islamabad dress modestly when not in a private residence. Since all of the functions are at private residences and venues, you can wear an outfit of your choosing. For casual wear around your accommodations and other outings, we recommend jeans, trousers, pants, sweat suits etc. Generally knee length lowers and covered shoulders for women.

It is forbidden to carry alcohol into the country, so please remain cautious and avoid doing so. Alcohol will be provided at the events and during your stay.

If you are not from Pakistan we will have ALL your transport organised. This includes airport transfers and getting around within the city during the wedding dates. Public transport is NOT safe!

All foreign phones providers will have roaming plans available. Hotels and homes will have high speed wifi that you can use as well. Data plans such as airalo can also be used.

The Pakistani ruppee is a weaker currency so you will not need much cash. It is best to carry some USD/GBP/EUR and we can help you change money when you are here as needed. Larger stores also accept Mastercard and Visa but it is mostly a cash based retail network.

It is generally cold with lows of 0-4°C and highs of 17-20°C.
